Henry (Ship) logbook, 1802-1803.

The logbook of the ship Henry details two shipping voyages, Salem, Mass., to Saint Helena, and Salem to Amsterdam and France, May 1802-May 1803. The logbook keeper was Edmund Browne. The logbook includes notes on shipboard occupations, and four entries for the ship Essex on a voyage from Salem to Hamburg, 1803. During its voyages, the Henry spoke the ships Active (out of Philadelphia) and Concord (out of Salem), the schooners Brothers and Buck (both out of New London), and the brig Sally (out of Salem).
